Eight Slices to Share
Octavo started in Italy, where Carl (owner) fell in love with wood-fired pizza during his overseas travel. Not just the amazing flavor's, but also how it brought people together.
The name comes from the Latin octāvō, meaning “in the eighth,” a nod to the tradition of eight pizza slices made to share with friends and family around the table.
15A Hood Street, Hamilton Central
After 2 years of Craft (former restaurant at 15A Hood Street) laying empty, and years of Carl perfecting pizza recipes in restaurants & at home with his kids, now Octavo is here. Right in the middle of Hamilton, Octavo is a central, inviting space for wood-fired pizzas, shared plates, quality drinks, and easy dining.
